Robert Hunter, B.Sc.F., LL.B., R.P.F.
Mr. Rob Hunter is both a forester (R.P.F.) with over 25 years’ experience in forestry and a lawyer with over 19 years’ experience in the legal field. For his entire professional career, he has been helping companies, governments and individuals to develop their business and related opportunities.
Mr. Hunter is also a trainer who, for the last 16 years, has taught numerous courses to the industry, First Nations and government on subjects such as contract management and negotiation, forestry and the law.
As a forester, Mr. Hunter has managed private land holdings and Crown tenures for First Nations, individuals, and corporations. This work has included the planning and management of all phases of forestry from inventories to development to silviculture.
As a lawyer, Mr. Hunter has provided legal advice with respect to corporate, commercial and contract law with an emphasis on providing excellent service to a wide range of clients. He has designed and implemented various company models for businesses including partnerships, corporations, and limited liability business structures. He is a pioneer in the area of contract drafting for government having designed numerous contracting systems and documents for governments across Canada.
